Dr Janan is a Consultant ENT, Head & Neck Surgeon at NMC Specialty Hospital, with over 20 years of experience. She is also associated with Al Nahda Hospital (Ministry of Health), Muscat.
After completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Basic Medical Science, she went for MD (Degree of Doctor of Medicine) from the Arabian Gulf University, Bahrain. Further, she obtained certification from the Canadian Evaluation Examination (MCCEE) in Medicine. Later she completed Diploma in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery (DOHNS) from The Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.
She also holds Fellowship in ENT with a subspecialty in Advanced Rhinology, Rhinoplasty and Anterior skull base from Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, The United Kingdom under the affiliation of the Royal College of Surgeons and Fellowship of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology-Head & Neck surgery from The European board Otorhinolaryngology.
She is also Faculty Tutor in ENT for SQU Medical students and Chairperson of ENT Examination Committee, OMSB program.
